Holy Archangel Jehudiel, Glorifier of God

The Archangel Jehudiel, whose name means “one who glorifies God,” encourages us to strive for the glory of the Lord, and intercedes for our efforts to be rewarded.
On icons the Archangels are depicted in according to the character of their service:
Jehudiel holds a golden crown in his right hand, in his left, a whip of three red (or black) thongs.
 
Prayer to the Holy Archangel Jehudiel
O great Archangel of God, Archangel Jehudiel, you are a zealous defender of the glory of God, you excite the glorification of the Holy Trinity: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, excite me, the lazy one, to repentance and prayer to the Lord God, and the Lord will give me a contrite spirit and a humble heart , and a source of tears, and a true confession of my sins, and the Lord will deliver me from eternal torment and from evil enemies always: now and forever, and forever and ever. Amen
