About the icon:
Sometimes icons from the Mt. Athos skete are not perfect. They have small flaws because an elderly monk makes these to support the skete. One of their monks reposed in the Lord who made icons and icon frames.

I will show the spots on the icon that may have flaws so I do not hide anything from you. Every purchase you make helps the monks on Mt. Athos. For those who are not too picky (but I totally understand you want nice items) this is quite a blessing to receive items (that they make themselves and not store bought) directly from the monks on Mt. Athos.
