The beads for prayer are not planted from incense wood, but are boiled on the Holy Mountain from plastic incense masses.

Essential oils are added to frankincense. The luxurious scent will open in sweat from the warmth of the skin.

What does it smell like? It smells like the best incense of a rare blend. Each monastery on Mt Athos add their own secret ingredients.

The prayer beads smell for YEARS. They do not lose their aroma.

The prayer beads bracelet is placed in a bag or some box/handbag so that the aroma is again concentrated in the beads.
